Power-outage tabletop discussion

Run a 15-minute discussion with an authorized facilitator. This is fictional: do not switch off power, test alarms, enter restricted areas, or make emergency calls. Use the organization’s existing plan and record gaps rather than improvising unsafe actions.

Name of document or activity: ____________________   Date: __________

1. Minute 0: Lights and normal systems lose power. What do we know, what is unknown, and who leads?
2. Minute 5: Normal phones are unavailable. What approved backup communication can we use?
3. Minute 10: A customer asks whether activity can continue. Who makes the decision, using which criteria?
4. Minute 15: Power returns. Who checks readiness before restarting work?
5. Close: name one useful decision, one unresolved gap, and an owner with a due date
